In the fall of 2002, two shoe designers named Ricardo Confinco and Robert Nand, both from Orange County, California, decided to create a new shoe brand, known as Creative Recreation. With the brand aimed towards the young and fashionable, Creative Recreation's popularity skyrocketed as soon as it was released online, and is now worn by celebrities including mogul Diddy, Kanye West, and The-Dream.
